Volunteer Sponsors
Jul 24, 2010

We're excited to have the following volunteers helping out this year: Young Audiences Arts for Learning, Common Ground on the Hill, and Music 4 More. All are great organizations that help kids through music and the arts.

Young Audiences Arts for Learning transforms the lives and education of our youth through the arts by connecting educators, professional artists, and communities. We provide artistically excellent programs, expertise, and resources to ensure opportunities for all students across the state of Maryland.

Common Ground on the Hill offers two consecutive but separate weeks of workshops in music and visual arts, concerts, dances, dramatic performances, lectures, art shows and more. These workshops and other events feature professional musicians, artists, dancers, actors, writers and thinkers from a wide variety of disciplines who hail from all over the United States and beyond, and who come to Common Ground on the Hill as instructors to teach and perform. Common Ground on the Hill also enrolls a body of students who come to participate in workshops, attend concerts, play music, dance, paint, weave, make pottery, write, engage in dialog, learn, share, and much, much more.

Music 4 More is a 501 (c) (3) charity organization providing financial and in-kind resources to sustain and foster under-funded music programs in schools and communities across the United States. We strive to make music education available to all children with the belief that through music education students become well-rounded, emotionally and intellectually mature adults. By maintaining a support system for these programs Music 4 More helps to contribute to a brighter future for our society.
