The Rules
- No video recording
- No food, cans, bottles or coolers.
- No re-entry.
- No tailgating.
- No pets.
Lawn chairs and blankets are welcome, however, they are not suitable up real close to the stage, since our bands bring those spectators to their feet and have them dancing. You are allowed to bring small tents and easy-ups but they will be only be allowed in a designated area. Hot August Blues & Roots is a "Blues Fan Friendly" venue. This means that the areas around the front of the stage are not roped off and sold to "VIP" patrons. We believe all blues lovers should have a chance to get as close to the stage as possible and, unlike other festivals, we do not segregate the front of the stage from our patrons.
Great food will be provided and is available for purchase at very reasonable prices.
Beer, wine, soda, and other beverages are also available for purchase at a very low price.
Although there is plenty of shade available under nearby tents, please be sure to bring your sunscreen, hats and sunglasses for those musical moments when you just can't bear to leave the front of the stage.

- 6. You will see the park entrance on the right.

Parking
FREE parking is available on-site The Maryland Athletic Club (MAC) will be giving away free one week passes at the gate to all passengers who carpool. If you are able to carpool to Hot August Blues, please do. There must be 4 or more people in a vehicle to qualify.

A block of rooms have been reserved for August 19, 2010 - August 23, 2010. The special room rate will be available until August 2nd or until the group block is sold-out, whichever comes first.
