Lawn chairs and blankets are welcome, however, they are not suitable up real close to the stage, since our bands bring those spectators to their feet and have them dancing. Hot August Blues & Roots is a "Blues Fan Friendly" venue. This means that the areas around the front of the stage are not roped off and sold to "VIP" patrons. We believe all blues lovers should have a chance to get as close to the stage as possible and, unlike other festivals, we do not segregate the front of the stage from our patrons.

Great food will be provided and is available for purchase at very reasonable prices.

Beer, wine, soda, and other beverages are also available for purchase at a very low price.

Although there is plenty of shade available under nearby tents, please be sure to bring your sunscreen, hats and sunglasses for those musical moments when you just can't bear to leave the front of the stage.
